Dont' Be A 'Wannabe'
A Wannabe isn't a small furry animal, though the feelings
that come from being one are. No, a Wannabe is someone who dreams of
becoming an author, but doesn't take the time or do the work to make it
as a professional. These people may even dabble with writing, but their
problem is that they don't take it to the next step. Wanting and
wishing to be a successful writer is far from the reality that it takes
to get there. It reminds me of one of my favorite lines in the movie The
Matrix, where Morpheus tells Neo, There is a difference between
knowing the path, and walking the path.
